BioI teach English at an alternative high school. When I'm not grappling with the woes of public education in the era of No Child Left Behind (or with my inadequacies in the face of my students' home lives), I'm grappling with my struggle to find my place in the Jewish community. Suffice to say, I grapple a lot. I'm trying to figure out who I am, what I believe, and how I can best do good in the world.
